Attended church for the first time in years

RE: Attended church for the first time in years
I find church services to be extremely boring, not creepy or cultish though.
I feel sorry for the young people who attend.
The old ones though, I think they really do enjoy the stability and the fellowship.
I don't believe x-tians have a monopoly on kindness, but you do meet a lot of kind people there.
And as religion draws to a close over the next few hundred years, the kind ones will be the last ones left.

Not all church services are boring. Some are quite funny

I liked the parts where these old yahoodies tolchock each other and then drink their Hebrew vino, and getting onto the bed with their wives' handmaidens.

When I attended UU services, I always found the exercise of singing hymns to be rather creepy. Like a form of musical brainwashing in which people were pressured into participating in.

I’ve gone to a few services at a Korean church this year.

I’m strictly in it for the food after the service, and it keeps me in the good graces of the lady who makes my kimchi.
