Our parades may lack the spectacle of other such events, but they move really fucking slowly, so either deal with it or give us what we want.

You did need to make it to work today, right?

Young person: don't worry, I'll scare you with the loud noise my vehicle makes that strokes my ego so nicely.

We old people will just laugh and laugh at the realization that the young don't know about our hearing loss superpower. Your vehicle is no match for the sheer damage I did to myself in my youth with The Who and a set of headphones. But if, by chance, your car does cause someone to start, it will only result in further delays while we stand in confused clusters, trying to make sense of it all. 

Then there will be additional delays while we try to remember which pills to take at that hour of the day.

Finally, of course, we'll all simply forget the parade route, causing even more confusion and delay.

You can't win because we have nothing to lose.

Hey I'm 29 and I prefer to be in bed when the sun goes down. During winter you will see my ass falling asleep on the couch at 6pm. During summer I'm going ugh I can't sleep till it's dark but it doesn't get dark until 9pm I'm soooooo tired it needs to hurry up and be later.
