Well it's true. I have five grandchildren and -- thanks to my incredibly philoprogenitive older daughters, who seem to be engaged in a uterine arms race -- a sixth on the way.

It really makes me appreciate my youngest daughter, whose boyfriends (unbeknownst to them) come with an easy-to-read sell by date. Those poor bastards don't have a chance.

My kids called me a fossil two years ago.

I'm 47 years old goddammit.

But I do think afternoon naps are an important survival tool.
