Shell B:  If you decide to rip out the knotty pine, please consider putting it out there on Craigslist (or whatever else similar there is in your area) as free to someone who wants it.  Someone qualified (like us) would be able to remove it and salvage it.  Someone who doesn't know what they're doing is still gonna get the work of getting it down done for you, even if they can't re-use it.  Pull up a chair and watch and you might even get a modern-day three stooges chuckle.

When I was very young we rented a house while ours was being built that had a kitchen and dining room that was all knotty pine.  For me it's nostalgic.

But the layout was more like this:  (change the walls to knotty pine).
 The appliances and counter tops were all turquoise.  It was a very modern early 60s rental house!


I remember being about four and helping Mama to polish all those knotty pine walls.  She HATED them, so I do get it, but believe me, we have customers who would pay big bucks to put their hands on some.

Okay, note to self for learning needs:  Learn to make pictures smaller.

It's a brilliant smiley to use when you've dropped an absolute bomb shell, like in a mafia game, and want to act all nonchalant without saying anything.

Per Tib's request, that emoji is :???: and the dialog box that pops up says, "Huh"  the same as this one already existing here- I personally consider it to be more like :looking askance:
