There comes a point in life where you realize that going to the freak show is what keeps them coming back to town.

Except this isn't a circus that comes to town, its the government of the United States, and these clowns aren't of any consequence, they're the face and personality that represents America.

In the case of the clowns we had in 2016, I would rather the one in office today was the clown that majored in clowning from clown college, worked in the clown congress, was head of the clown union and was Secretary of State for the Ringmaster than the one that stumbled in drunk, flipping tables and spraying people in the face with his lapel flower.
