Huh? Russia is 2nd after USA by number of immigrants worldwide

Huh, no.

Russia has the second largest foreign born population, mostly from other parts of the former USSR thanks to her dominant position in the former USSR. These foreign born populations are counted in her moribund birth rate.  They are not something new that can offset her moribund population growth rates. For that it would require new immigrants.

She did not absorb anywhere near the second largest number of new immigrants.  Her net 5 year immigration rate is about 7%, which is well below most major European countries and less than 1/2 of that of the US.

What is more, the source of most new immigration into Russia is other parts of former USSR. Most other parts of former USSR have their own moribund birthrates. So how long will it be before they runs out of population to sustain such Inadaquate rates of new immigration into Russia as they do now?

Of course the main exception to moribund birth rates in former USSR appear to be some Islamic region in the south. So Russia can alsways count on having more Islamic immigrants where they come from to help bolster the numbers in the great white, Christian, pro-rich natural ally of trump.

Putin is making Russia great again, isn’t he.

And most of these "immigrants" were Russians transplanted into foreign SSRs under Russian attempts to co-opt foreign cultures into the Russian culture during soviet times, or their children.

In Ireland we don't count returning emigrants as immigrants.

You need to be able to automate though. Guess what Russia is really bad at doing, mainly because its industries have been stripped of equipment and capital these last twenty-eight years.

That's right, creating automated processes to make stuff.

The Russian economy is fucked, it will be fucked ten years in the future, and ten years after that (no matter the world's situation will then be). All the productive Russians are getting out, all the intelligent Russians are getting out, all the determined Russians are getting out. All you'll have left soon will be the Putin whores (like yourself), the alcoholics, the pensioners and the mob.

I think the Russians have higher standards than that.
