Why? Because you thought being an atheist meant you could joke with me and got shocked to find out that label doesn't make us sheep?

If you want to stupidly vote for any republican, by law that is your right. But that says to me, you don't know economic history or even social history, and if you do, you are willfully ignorant.

Pretty fucking simple to me.

1. Billionaires will not end up eating cat food if they pay more in taxes.

2. The policies that caused the great depression are the same policies that caused Bush's great recession. The policies of Reagan's failed trickle down economics.

3. The policies that built our middle class were based on high taxes on the top, and investment, (FYI, means since we have a private/public) system that investment ends up in the pockets of private business anyway.)

4. Blaming blacks, and Muslims and migrants isn't a policy, it is simply being a fucking dick.

Now if you cannot see the larger sample on a national scale over decades that is your problem. But no, I will not apologize for telling you while it is legal for you to vote the way you want, you are making a mistake. There would have been a time I would have been a Republican. But that was way before I was born.

Did a mail-in vote two weeks ago; voted straight Democrat, which wasn't too hard when, of the 28 offices being voted upon in my district, only 9 even had a Republican candidate.

Double standard much, Bri?

No double standard. I am pointing out the shell game the GOP plays. They will act like social safety nets will kill red states, hypocritically take the money anyway then gut other things to compensate for what they hypocritically lie and take anyway.

Typical street side Vegas ball and cup scam.

Have a butcher's at this, Brian:

Of the 33 states that expanded health care since 2012, 11 of them had Republican governors and/or legislatures at the time.  Granted it would be better if it were more, but it does rather give the lie to your blanket implication about republicans and healthcare expansion. And before you start another one of your ill-considered rants, bear in mind that I'm somewhat to the political left of Jon Stewart.

You have the entire internet literally at your fingertips.  You might consider using it to, you know, look stuff up.

I hope you're willing to settle for two out of three.

My second election not voting.

If the last one didn't teach you that the results are bought and paid for - you haven't been paying attention.

I' m looking forward to a few weeks of not being assaulted with politico advertising, and dreading the pissing and moaning of whoever loses.

Wow way to miss the bigger picture.

Trump does not have to personally face me in person and threaten to punch me personally. His rhetoric is that of a bully, the same selfish authoritarian rhetoric we see from closed state's leaders whom bully their populations, like North Korea, Iran and Saudi Arabia. But yea, I also take that fucker personally because he is vilifying me as a liberal making false claims that I want widespread crime and I hate the private sector. He vilifies my innocent non violent neighbors painting them as gang members.

That asshole literally would have been one of the bullies I grew up with whom cornered me in the woods and would have been the ring leader who punched me in the face and broke my nose.

He is a self entitled asshole who's dad taught him to be a bully, and he has been, even in the private sector, long before he ran. He has a long history of stiffing contractors and investors.

A bully is an asshole who cant even back off a war hero.

You have no business accusing others of being ignorant of economic history.
