I can see how you'd get that one wrong, not that it matters..since trumpists are "economically anxious" gayhaters, lol.  In any case, that diversity of thought and political opinion is tolerated (and ofc it is, don't be silly) does not mean that all thought or political opinion is equally legitimate, or tolerated.

I don't have time for white nationalists.  Maybe, if some conservatives would crawl out of their apocalypse bunkers and retake the republican establishment, we could at least have a conversation on the merits of a legitimate idea about governance. As it stands, we have a man shouting "spics spics spics!" at the top of his lungs to frighten his base to the polls...when he could have run on the economy, instead. He knows what he is, and he knows what trumpists are, and unless you insist that I consider that a legitimate idea about governance that I ought to tolerate....you have absolutely nothing to say Cap. All you'll have done is appeal to nonexistent hypocrisy in defense of white nationalism and white nationalists.

I appreciate that you try and provide some counterpoint to what is largely an anti-trump forum..but I think that you pick the worst examples to try to do this..and maybe you should look further afield than the talking points bandied about in the psuedo-state yellow press for examples?
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

So you believe that any political opinion no matter how repugnant or destructive should be tolerated ?

I am all for intolerance to the intolerant, but, frankly speaking and looking from the outside, imho this namecalling going on in the US is childish, completely childish. What it does to me is feeding yet another stereotype about the american society.

The good guys aren't assholes. Subjective, I know. It's hard to pin down exactly who qualifies in objective terms but I think the good guys here generally agree that we have a new asshole.

I won't be tolerant towards a group of people who aren't tolerant towards me, thank you very much.

They're locking kidnapped children in cages.  I think that they've earned every asshole. If the stereotype is that we're loud and boisterous and prone to tell people when we think they're being assholes...well, yeah, duh, this is the US of A! Wink
