Kansas. My mom was involved with a married man and became pregnant. I avoid 'scandal', I was raised by my grandparents (and adopted for social security). In the early 1960's they actually put 'illegitimate' on birth certificates in Kansas.

5. I lived in the Netherlands for ten years. I’ve never been arrested but an old address I resided in was raided by Dutch police and the poor unfortunate tenant was dragged out of his flat. Apparently they were looking for me. He had to produce his passport to prove who he was. I never committed any crimes but I disappeared off the radar at a time when there was, unbeknownst to me, an active IRA unit living around the corner from me. I reckon the police were a bit paranoid and over the top
