RE: Parenting
Yesterday we sat a two year old down at the table, and I think half of what she ate was chips and dip. The mother was not pleased. It's so hard not to spoil a cute, well behaved child.

A lady once told me not to put a hat on my baby because newborns breathe through the hole in their heads like little whales.

yes Jack, I agree nothing like a 30year old with no kids that's been doing childcare all their lives as a way to fulfill their need for children, telling me how I should parent my child and that I'm not changing diapers the correct way.

As long as you're not just turning them inside out, you're just fine.

Pretty sure you're supposed to keep a hat on a baby specifically because their skin is sensitive to sunlight and heat.

There are only two places on Earth where a belief like that is a possible, and they share a state border. And one of them is Florida.
"There remain four irreducible objections to religious faith: that it wholly misrepresents the origins of man and the cosmos, that because of this original error it manages to combine the maximum servility with the maximum of solipsism, that it is both the result and the cause of dangerous sexual repression, and that it is ultimately grounded on wish-thinking." ~Christopher Hitchens, god is not Great

I don't concern myself with what other people do to their children...the cattle.  I raise mine to drive them.
