That was an "additionally" part. Are you now saying that this is the question you are asking?

Not a single question, a range of inquiry based on variables that occurred to me.

In your afterlife, do you remember anything from this life?

Can any experience from this life be pertinent to the next life?

Do you create your after life before or after you depart this life?

What are the rules around this creating of your own afterlife?

Impossible things don't have hard-and-fast rules, so anyone's opinions/suppositions are as valid as the next. I think along the lines of "what would make me happy" and "what would make me afraid".

At work.

(In Atheism because the existence of a enduring soul doesn't automatically prove a god or gods exist.)

The Christians I've known were very consistent in being afraid of death, because, I suspect, they didn't know if they were in the correct camp regarding whatever god was "on the other side of death". This has since made me wonder how they would act if they knew they'd "make it safely out of this world". More reckless? More smug? More placid?

Additionally and not necessarily part of the above, what if we create our "next life"? Would we create a Heaven or Hell? Or both?

No.

Other than asking; "How do we put spare ones in 'Bottl3s' and get useful 'Energy'/'Work' out of them?"

In that case I would want to be god in my afterlife. I am not going to try to get to that afterlife sooner just in case you are playing a trick on me. Just because I am to be god doesn’t mean I should have complete faith in god.

Not following you there. Probably me.

Would you be god for everybody else or just yourself?

It would really depend on where and how my soul endured. Given that the second part of the question is sort of separate, I'll say that knowing my soul lived forever in pain, boredom or some other dreadful way, I would live my life much more scared of death. If I knew it was good, I think I'd be happier toward the end of my life.

As for what I would create for my next life, it would be a sort of Heaven for me and my loved ones where we were all happy together. I wouldn't want an afterlife without them. They define life for me. I don't think that would change "after."

Good thoughts! Would/could such enduring souls congregate in the supposed afterlife or would we live on in solitary?

Hey Gawdzilla.

If imortal, unending (Heck, are they indestructible too?) exist THEN how do we harness any 'Free floating' or 'Spare ones' to power our light bulbs?
