I do have a special fondness for the first one because I watched it a lot when I was a kid, and it taught me some history like the inquisition. And I liked how it spoofed on Quo Vadis. Interestingly, I did watch the movie again in its entirety just like a year or two ago and was actually shocked at how dirty it was - I guess I have become a prude with age, but also I was not aware how much dirtier it was.
teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"

There is a new scene from Ant-Man 3, and who do we see if not Michelle Pfeiffer and Michael Douglas. I mean it made my skin crawl to see them together as if we took a trip to the 90s

Oh, it seems like the new Fast and Furious movie is a Christian flick. Soon they'll have Kevin Sorbo kidnapping women to drive them away from abortion clinics.

Oh, Russel, I thought you were smarter than to get excited about the lies and bullshit the Vatican propagates.
