As someone who doesn't know shit about video games, let alone what your kids A) already have or B) what they like in video games, here's a list of Metacritic's top games for the Nintendo Switch. That should be a good start.
Comparing the Universal Oneness of All Life to Yo Mama since 2010.

If you like sports games, Rakuten has Mario Tennis Aces for $40 today with promo SAVE20.
Usually the lowest you see this is around $45. Grabbing a copy for myself.
It actually beat out GoW and GTA V as the top selling console game in June 2018.

Oh well at least I can boost people and offer unwanted gear. I do lack the time for good farming.
This is my worry:
I'm in Korea, and I'm worried whether your account gets locked into a single region. Also: can I only buy games from the Korean market, or can you browse among different markets? I know for example that I can't buy games directly through the system-- I have to go online, choose a game and pay for it, and I get a download code. That's because Korea requires certain encryption and securities that online PCs can provide but the Nintendo can't.
I have now bought Super Smash Bros. I think the match-by-match craziness will provide a good counterpoint to the longer time-span of Odyssey.

I play na and euro, mostly just the first week or two of new seasons. GR100 in 24 hours or less. By the time I hit para 1k I'm bored and wait for the next season.

I tried getting into that one, but it's not really a Zelda game at all. It's like a different series, similar to Horizon Dawn, which I also couldn't get into.
SM Odyssey is the only game I've enjoyed on the Switch so far (got every single moon on that one), and that's about it ... for now. PS4 currently seems to have the better games.

Have now been playing Smash Bros. pretty solidly for a couple days. I foolishly thought it would be just 1:1 matches like old arcade games. But no, of course there's quite a lot to do: spirits to collect, classic series to go through and so on. I'm usually not a big fan of fighting games, but so far this one is turning out to be a lot of fun.
So far when I play 1:1, I can't see how both players can use their account to have their own champ pool and spirit setups: it's just one person joins, and the other person is "2P." Not a problem yet, but I'd imagine I'll want that later.
