Feel the Bern

RE: Feel the Bern
I truly respect Bernie and hope he gets a chance to bring decorum and caring back into U.S. politics, but I'm doubtful.

Given what I've seen from online Hillary and Dem communities and on Twitter, not happening.

I respect him as well. I think he's being selfish by running, though. We can't have a repeat of 2016. Are we stupid enough for it to happen again?

Maybe we are.

Bernie is not the reason Hillary lost. Hillary is.

Thank you. I don't know why it is so hard for most people to say that.

The appropriate retort to the “he’s too old slur” is that here in Malaysia last year they elected a 92 year-old to oust the corrupt government. Ordinary people rose up after decades of neo-aristocracy.

Bernie is the US’s last chance to save the republic.

If the US could learn from the UK they would have Bernie, Tulsi and Lizzie campaigning together, playing to their strengths (anti-war, consumer and worker protection, finance reform) to show a clear divide between themselves and the pro-aristocracy candidates like Kamala (is a cop) Harris.

In one of the greatest bits of comedy ever, Trump has tried to derail Bernie by talking about how much he likes Bernie and how much like him Bernie is. He doesn't even mention Bernie's socialism.

That's hilarious. They're practically nothing alike.

It was hardly a 'slur'...it was an observation. I think very highly of Mr. Sanders and wish him well.  But being nearly 80 years of age in a stressful job is a legitimate concern.
