There is no 'true' reading or interpretation of the quoran.
It is like most other religious texts, a largely incomprehensible mish mash of self contradicting ideas and vague poetry that can be made to fit whatever you want it to.
Hence you can find justification for extreme violence and a peacefull loving existance in the same tome.
So summarise: if your a nice person you can find that it speaks to you, if you are a nasty bastard it also speaks to you.
As such it is worse than useless.
