I watched Mrs. Doubtfire with a bunch of friends. We were hitting vodka infused watermelons. (Hey, it was hot.) One of the guys passed out face first into a melon and all of us chanted in unison "Must have been a drive by fruiting!"

Ok, not all uses of the term 'fruit' have to do with homosexuality.  See, a watermelon is a fruit - that's where the joke is.
