Mueller report. OP/ED
#31
RE: Mueller report. OP/ED
The Mueller investigation wasn't a 'democrat strategy', for what it's worth. Democrats had no power to instate the investigation and had no control over it. Since they took the House in the midterms, they can ruin some hearings to find out what was actually in it.

You are absolutely right. Comey was a republican, Rosenstein is a republican, Mueller is a republican. And all our intel, multiple agents kept repeating over and over for years that Russia WAS interfering in our elections. Now how the fuck is that dems fault? And why lie about the contacts or meetings if everything is above board. And this report is protecting other state investigations too by the use of the following words in this report.

Mueller is simply tossing this to the congress, thus "not fully exonerated" as far as possibility of impeachment for other things.

The text was crafted to say that the trump campaign hadn't conspired with the fsb, in effect.  Conspiring with a bunch of shady russians with alleged ties to the fsb who were trying to ratfuck our elections..but, from the point of view of trump - for personal profit- ..for example...gives just enough wiggle room.

Our poor beleaguered President Pappy With The Good Brain can (and does ) play the victim,  lol.  Idiot or Traitor. I think I'd go with the idiot defense myself, in that position.

The idea that he didn't obstruct justice, which is barr/rosensteins alone, is based on that very narrow framing.  If he didn't "collude" then he didn't obstruct - which is going to be a hell of a shock to people who were charged and convicted with obstruction without being convicted of any underlying crime. OFC, it's been barrs position since before he was hired that a president -can't- obstruct, no matter what he does.

Now, we've got reds saying that we should just burn up the actual mueller report, a test bubble being floated for some new investigation into her emails to bury the story, calls for resignations, and stonewalling from the admins lawyers about the release of the underlying documents. The idea is to turn the barr letter into the mueller report. To make it politically costly for anyone to see or advocate for the public being informed of what the investigation turned up. It was always going to be this way, it was always going to go to congress..the doj wasn't going to indict a president.

Barr did the thing he was hired to do, he telegraphed those intentions. Now we just have to watch the circus play out.

If the orange turd were The Beaver, or Mr Rogers, there would be NO NEED to put the words, "not fully exonerated".

Mueller is no dummy. He's like any good investigator, you let the suspect go and keep an eye on him. Which is why the cases not in this report are being farmed out to a few states where Mueller knows the federal laws cannot be swept under the rug by Barr.

And regardless....

If Obama had conducted himself on a daily basis using the same language rhetoric that bully has, the GOP would demand his head on a platter.

Mueller was personally attacked by name, by the POTUS, despite he is a republican too. That was tactical on Trump's part. Mueller isn't stupid, if he had gone out on a full out attack because of Trump calling Mueller corrupt, that would have been even more fuel for Trump to claim corruption.

But even without this probe.

It is immoral and unethical to attack dead war heros while in office. It is immoral to attack your own intel in that office. It is immoral to kiss the asses of dictators on the global stage, while at the same time attacking your allies.

But keep defending that asshole if you wish. That party beyond Trump by himself, are still looking to fuck over everyone on social security and medicare.
You are right muller is no dummy.. the only real question is did it really take 2 years to find out there was no russian conclusion on trump's side? I think this whole trump investigation was a move by the state department to investigate not trump but the deep state. the russian source the dossie came from, and who/clinton paid for it that originally secured the fisa warrant and how the abuse of power pushed this investigation from the beginning. I think it took 2 years to identify the members of the deep state/swamp and come election time Trump will use this info to nuder the democratic party.

What you "dims" fail to see is that investigation like this cuts both ways. there are no restrictions and I think you guys just gutted yourselves and don't even know it!

That doesn't mean question just the questionable, it also means that we should question the foundational. If you have a biblically based question you'd rather not openly discuss i am happy to receive any PM's Semi-discreetly, or Email [email protected]

A/S/K= ask, seek, knock. As outlined in luke 11:5-13

Semi-discreetly= will never share details openly with anyone, but may remind you that I am not speaking out of a vaccum but rather that you may have shared some personal info with me 8+ years ago Dodgy

-and there we have it.

Nutters imagine things in the barr report, intentionally crafted to be very friendly towards the admins next steps, that aren't actually there.

Nutters imagine that the investigation into the trump campaign was cover for a covert investigation of DEEP STATE!!!

Nutters imagine that Hillarydidit.

And then nutters declare and impending flawless victory for Dear Leader. "Q" was right all along!

Holy crap man, this isn't SVU on TV where the crime is solved in an hour. Even with crimes not involving the famous, investigations take time. And our intel takes its time to insure that any thing they bring to a court is going to be more likely to stick and that they do have the right person.

FYI the "no collusion" is only one SUBJECT in that report, thus "not fully exonerated" was also put in.

This can be issues of ethics, emoluments, and corruption to the point that his behavior, even if not illegal, can be dangerous to the point of allowing an enemy to create a blackmail situation and compromise the office.

He did pay off porn stars. He did attempt to build a hotel in Russia. His organizers are also being investigated for inauguration illegal foreign contributions. He is still to this day allowing foreign businesses to stay at his hotel. That to me is not full divestment no matter what the fucker claims.

But regardless, I really am warning you to pull your head out of the sand. His repeated behavior for years, of daily attacking multiple groups, ignoring and attacking his own intel, and the free press, in that seat of power, is dangerous. You really do not understand, this behavior alone, sets a very dangerous tone and long term, it can cause the collapse of our free society.

I am NOT saying this for political reasons one bit. When you hold that office, your job isn't to divide and vilify, your job is to protect our institutions, not attack them. We know from prior history what happens when power uses fear and scapegoating in a political office.

He is NOT politics as normal. He is setting a very dangerous tone by consistently attacking our institutions.

Meanwhile, The Party is sending out hatemail to broadcasters with a list of persons that shouldn;t be on TV anymore for all of the treason they committed against The Chairman.

Most of the world thought the earth was flat at one point too.

Um no, I am not bitter and this is not sour grapes on my part.

When you hold that office, YOU DO NOT behave like that. This is not about politics for me. And do not hand me any shit, that if Obama in his 8 years was constantly on a daily basis vilifying anyone questioned him, you'd feel the same way.

I am warning you, not for political reasons one bit. I am warning you, because the way he behaves is exactly what destroys a free society if more politicians adapt his tactic of political vilification. This is a warning from history, not a personal grudge on my part. 20 years from now, or 30 years from now, if his brand of politics overtakes our society, believe me, even if he cant be a dictator himself, our country will look completely different in the future.

I am sick of the bullshit, "that cant happen here". A free society is only as good as those who choose to protect it. And it is toxic and dangerous to speak the way he does on a daily basis.

I mean, seriously, we've got a President who's infamous for his levels of corruption, a report that would seem to vindicate him (or, in reality, say "of course, nobody can prove anything, as usual") and he refuses to go beyond a simple four-page summary of a report that's likely thousands of pages long.
I was born with a gift of laughter and a sense that the world is mad.
