Seriously only the derranged have that look.
Yup, I've had a full beard since 1978. Every now and them I shave it off, look in a mirror, scream, and grow it back.-A beard will hide much of the ravages of time and gravity on the face, especially if you dye it. Haven't done that yet. I've started with my pubes, looks fine.

Seriously only the derranged have that look. Good sir, I disagree. A beard is a fine thing on its own, mustache or no mustache.
But that's getting off-topic.

If you're feeling better, that is all that matters.

Normality is overrated. Be wierd. It's makes people interesting.
If today you can take a thing like evolution and make it a crime to teach in the public schools, tomorrow you can make it a crime to teach it in the private schools and next year you can make it a crime to teach it to the hustings or in the church. At the next session you may ban books and the newspapers...
Ignorance and fanaticism are ever busy and need feeding. Always feeding and gloating for more. Today it is the public school teachers; tomorrow the private. The next day the preachers and the lecturers, the magazines, the books, the newspapers. After a while, Your Honor, it is the setting of man against man and creed against creed until with flying banners and beating drums we are marching backward to the glorious ages of the sixteenth centry when bigots lighted fagots to burn the men who dared to bring any intelligence and enlightenment and culture to the human mind. ~Clarence Darrow, at the Scopes Monkey Trial, 1925
Politics is supposed to be the second-oldest profession. I have come to realize that it bears a very close resemblance to the first. ~Ronald Reagan

Actually, no. That's the problem.
When I feel at my absolute best I'm pathologically high in mood. I can feel extremely amazing but so much so that I can't focus on anything, my imagination is overactive and I just can't live my life. But do I feel good? FUCK YEAH....TOO GOOD.
If only it was as easy as "Are you happy?".... you really can be too happy apparently.
Well, you can be too "happy" if by happy we mean joyful or joyous... like you can be overexcited (and then some!!)....
But "happy" in the sense of "satisfied".... that's different.
This is the problem with the word "happy". It can mean content/satisfied OR it can mean joyful/joyous/cheerful/, etc.

Agreed..this is an issue with english...one word can imply sooo much.
Have you been able to stabilise your mood swings yet?? This would bring some contentment...yes??

I'm reminded of a lyric "I'm either too happy or fucking sad" from a really good song...haha. I hope you find peace, man. It's really a complicated issue and I can imagine why it might be frustrating to have your own emotions do that to you.

Beard and no mustache is wrong wrong wrong.
When you see someone sporting that look you know that they are 'not quite right'.
Only in the era of abraham lincoln was that look acceptable and that was also the era of 'mutton chop' mustaches another faicial hair aberration.
You can fix ignorance, you can't fix stupid.
