not what I said.

This is what I said:

Quote:I use to think being called a yellow N word didn't bother me either but after it spread to everyone on the bus and at school I decided I'd rather not be called that. Because I found out the word does not so much refer to a color or skin tone than it refers to a less developed human primate..

If you like I can start calling N-oru (the "N" in N-oru would stand for the "N' word) maybe we can get the other members to call you that as well. No other disparaging remarks just one simple adjustment to your identification.. Or better yet you can change your name to N-oru and change your signature or tag line to explain the "n" stands for the N Word. and you see yourself as a white version of everything negative that word embodies, and yet you do not think it is a disparaging word your or to be referred to as. and let see if anyone disagrees. shall we?

Because again, if anyone one on the planet still see this words as offensive then it still lends itself to persecution which again proves that if one word used in a neural way can be considered persecution, then all the hate speech used here against Christians can also indeed be rightly identified as persecution, whether you ath-hole want to be identified as hypocrites or not!

Again, let see if anyone else finds it offensive that you are using a term you assign no value to and see if they find it offensive.

When and if huggy or anyone else asks what the deal with you name if you are play by my rules you are to only ask does the n-word attached to my name offend you?

You DO understand the difference between 'offensive' and 'persecuted', right?  You asked it be attached to my name because you claimed that name-calling is the equivalent of persecution. Since it's only directed at me, then I'm the only one who could feel persecuted, and I don't.

For what it's worth, I agree that it's offensive.  Point made, social experiment over.

my point exactly.. Noru over there seems to think that just because a word is not offensive to him people should see things the way he does and stop being so thinned skinned. that just because he does not use a word in a way that persecutes another means others should also not contextualize the word choices he makes, rather use the word how he sees it. thus Christians have nor can ever claim being verbally persecuted because persecution has no effect verbally. that one such as himself can not say anything that would persecute another even if he assigns himself the n-word out of context. that no one such as yourself should find it offensive as word hold no intrinsic power on their own.

I said if a single word even outside of context can be seen as a form of persecution, then how much more so are these anti Christian posts where the whole body of a post is dedicated to pure hate and vitriol towards a person who believes in God?

Again if one word can bee seen as persecution then how much more are thousands of posts sometimes over 10,000 posts that all center on the hatred of God and those who repersent him?

So Noru took up my offer, rather than just call himself noru and explain the changed "N" he decided to go full BS crazy

do you know the difference because in truth they over lap moron.

to persecute can be as extreme as: hostility and ill-treatment, especially because of race or political or religious beliefs. or as mundane as :persistent annoyance or harassment. which is the same as the #1 definition  of offensive 1.causing someone to feel deeply hurt, upset, or angry.

So can you admit now that since you bailed on your social experiment that if a single a word can lend itself to persecution, then pages of vitriol and venom again people and their beliefs are also a form of persecution?

Again you all silenced 3/4 of the christians that where here this time last year, because they could no long take all of the hatred directed at them. they where not simply offended and left. they where hated out of this forum, or another way to put it persecuted to the point where they gave up..

So then why the doubble standard? why is every other social race based group protected but you all feel there is no limits put on Christianity?

1.  They can overlap, but that isn't the same as 'they overlap'.  You understand these words about as much as you do the word 'altruism'.

2.  Yes.  Those two definitions are manifestly not the same.  Your reading comprehension is about as evolved as your theology.

3.  I bailed on the social experiment because I made my point.  You thought that calling me  'Noru' or some such would make me feel persecuted.  It didn't.  Name calling isn't the same as persecution, Mister Poopy Pants.

4/5.  I have never 'silenced' anyone.  In fact, I think I do a better job at not calling Christians names than some of my fellow atheists.  If they left because they couldn't take being called names, that's their business.  It still doesn't rise to the level of 'persecution'.

You're an idiot.  Nothing to do with your being a Christian.  You're just...an idiot.

So no, they don't think their rapist deity is protecting them from physical harm.

And if the history of the Roman Empire is any judge 99 out of every hundred would deny him. Most christians, when brought up on civil charges of not sacrificing to the Emperor (they didn't even have to deny Jesus, or do anything to show they were being sincere {there are records of Roman magistrates being perfectly happy with an obviously insincere declaration of faith}), went ahead and fondled some chicken gizzards.

is english a second language to you? if not show me where in the bible that Christians are commanded to rape your children and protect the offenders...

Can't? that's because we do not stand for that. in fact Jesus Himself said it would be better for someone to tie a mill stone around their neck and cast themselves into a river or better yet better for them not to have been born than cause any harm to a child.

But go ahead keep falsly accusing the church as there is a special place for those who do that as well.

Quote:All the good christards do is merely a smoke screen for all the harm they have done in the past and the harm they intend to do in the future.
look ath-hole I know the great atheist thinkers on you tube have not popularized this yet and will probably never figure this out, but there is no difference between christian and atheist, in all but one area. In truth we are all just people and better yet products of our generations and societies. The nasty shit you refer to that the church did?  didn't need the church to do it. Meaning the church was used as a tool to accomplish the evil in the heart of who lived in that place at that time. that generation that soceity was so f-ed up they used the church as a reason to do what they wanted.

As I said in the first response if you can not find an incannon reason or command for an act of the church then it is not Christianity's problem nor fault. do you understand?

It would be like people blaming dungeons and dragons for douche bags killing other douche bags in the park because they roll a higher 10 sided dice number than they other guys did.

Yes they maybe playing dungeons and dragons in their minds, but D&D limits itself to graft paper and story telling. no where in any of the books does it say you must in real life and death slaughter your opponets. Those that do are not playing the game. they are using the game to play out their own evil desire. the same is true with the church unless you can find book chapter and verse that commands the evil. then be smart enough to know it is not the church nor God but evil men using the title of the church to play out their evil desires.

Quote:Wake up and smell the coffee christard.
hey ath-hole you are the one who can not tell the difference between canonical Christianity and someone playing church to get away with what they want. or you have you head so burried in the sand you can't determine something as simple as who is following the teaching od Christ to better the world around them and who is used the church as a means to resources and power to full fill their own means.

Quote:Religtardology is dying in the UK.  It's even dying slowly in the US.
Christianity died when your king took the religion and made it his own. what little God could be found in the RCC completely left when henry became a prophet by his own hand. just so he could divorce and remarry. Why it has taken your people of broken and crooked teeth hundreds of years to abandon the church of England I will never know. as God has long since abandoned that church.

Quote:There was a time when it was illegal in the UK to be in possession of a babble that was written in a language other than Latin.  The penalty was death.  Such was the love that you christards had for society.
book chapter and verse sport. again if you can not find it, it is not a christian command. meaning show me in the bible where the Vulgate was the only language allowed. In truth you can't that's because the bible was written in greek and translated into the Vulgate later, for the express purpose of keeping God's word out of reach of the common man. And again not a church rule but a state run church rule as the church could not execute anyone without the authority of the state. Do you see you blind fool? the state consumed your church which means it is your elected officials and royalty who have taken the role of god in your "church" yet you blame god.

Do you see dummy?
in this specific case,
Evil soceity, changes the bible, then demand all bibles be written in a form little to no one outside the church could read, then the state can say anything and claim the bible said it. This is why in the land of the free the state is not allow to amend or contribute to the church, because of crap you douche bags are still trying to do. which again english people know is not of God and can clearly see the state propping up the church which is the cause of your mass exodus.

Quote:So christard, stick your sanctimonious bull shit as far up your ass as it will go.
Your thought process for something like the comment above:
oops he broke my best efforts into shite, again. Not smart enought to not blame people when people do stuff in other's name.Must always blame people according to who they claim to be.. lost control of topic, must curse out Drich, lost discussion long ago, much make Drich look bad as a way to try and save face... oh but wait if he is stupid then what does that make me for loosing to him??? reset to defaul playground rules... talk about his mom-ma or ass. mama might be minority better talk about ass..

So, no...I don't consider name-calling to be persecution in any way, shape or form.  It may feel like it to children, but not to adults.  Having experienced religious persecution first hand (I've been denied both housing and employment for having a Catholic-sounding surname), I think I can take a few invectives.

Nigger-Boru

now lets just keep posting that till someone objects.. anyone seen huggy? Wink

I have to modify my use of the English language when addressing you christards because christards are so dumb that they don't understand long words and sentences.

Here's an actual example of your grasp of the English language.  This is what you actually typed: "Not smart enought".  What's "enought" christard?

Maybe you should go back to school and ask for your money back, christard?  Or, maybe, christard, you were home-schooled?  That would make complete sense, christard.

Oh, btw, were you 'born in' and inherited both your stupidity and christardology from your parents or did you inherit just your stupidity from your parents and found your own way to christardology? Just asking.

Shame on you for calling it 'man on a stick week'.  I'll have you know that I plan to spend the weekend in sober reflection of the sacrifice that our Lord and Saviour made for all of us....

Sorry, couldn't keep up that bullshit.  We're going to a barbecue.  Smile
