Every now and then I keep hearing or reading news of "crimes" against the local churches. Yesterday I read about a bunch of kids who stole the donations box of a church in my country. Naturally the media called that "a major crime" but considering what criminals run and serve the church, I don't think stealing from a thief is a theft. Anyway, the article said there were 4 security cameras in that church and also (like many other churches around here) it had something in my language is called a "security roulette". IDK what it is called in English.

This brings me to the $1 million question - if your god keeps you safe, why:
• do you need cameras or that security thing from the above image?
• do you lock your car in the street or park it in a garage that has a lock?
• do you lock the door of your home?

That shows a serious lack of faith in your god. Therefore, all the so called "christians" are actually atheists.

Criminals do serve and run some churches... and some daycares, political organizations, governments, social groups, law firms, etc. Stealing is stealing, even if it's for a good reason/ just cause. As to the pont in lack of faith. I do have a lack of faith in God sometimes, usually because I believe I know how to better do something.

That's a poor reason 

Not because God hasn't shown time and again that He is powerful enough to turn it to good,

He has not 

but because the levels of atrocities and evils people propagate on each other is nearly unfathomable and truely scary.

I'm just a former Christian, but when I was a believer I never got the sense that God's intent was to save humans from anything other than the wages our own sin. 
Wasn't one much for intercessory prayer for that very reason. 

That's still the general impression I get in considering Scripture as an atheist.

Never in my time as a Christian did I believe (or any other Christians I knew) that god would protect me from anything bad happening to me ever. Never did I believe it was his place to do that. I would say that at most Christians should be thanking god for giving them a life where they’re afforded the luxury of having locks on their doors. Their faith should never be that god will prevent them from being robbed, but rather that whether or not they use the locks, if they do get robbed, god will see them through it.

I had a sky pilot tell me he could prove God was protecting me. He outranked me so he went along one day. Brought him home in a body bag. The chaplains that came for his body asked us to pray for him.

That’s very sad. Even back when I was a Christian I would’ve said that guy made a terrible choice and it wasn’t very smart of him.
