Funnily enough, he was on very good terms with the Catholic Church. His art doesn't show it, but he always was very establishment. Not the rebel he seemed to be when he started out with his performances.

Fred Ward, a prolific character actor who starred in "The Right Stuff" and "True Detective" Season 2.
