Apparently, Meghan Markle killed him

I didn't know much of anything about Prince Phillip other than a couple bits in sketches by Eddie Izzard until I watched The Crown (yeah, I know it's based on real events but not historical). I really didn't have an opinion of him other than I liked the guy who played the young Phillip better than the one who played the older version.
I do feel sort of bad for Queen Elizabeth, 70+ years is a long damn time to be married to someone. I'm sure, while his passing was not a shock, it's still a loss for her.

Talking about movies/ tv-shows that portray the Royal Family but are not historical, I wish they made one where the Royal Family surpasses their chauvinism and makes friends with a black newcomer to the family.

Well, if the interviews were any indication ( Harry and Meghan point-blank refused to criticize her in the otherwise damning interview), the Queen herself seems to have done so. At least that’s more than can be said about Prince Charles.
