Oh no, Italian fashion designer Valentino. All my wardrobe is by him.
teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"

H.K. Edgerton, an African American activist for the neo-Confederacy. Needless to say, he was a controversial figure. He would dress up every day in a Confederate uniform, carry the Confederate flag in his town, and salute to the Confederate monuments.
He also offered a revised history of the Confederacy and the Civil War, where he claimed that Black soldiers were fighting on the side of the Confederacy, that slavery wasn't that bad, that it was better to be a slave than a free man in Africa, etc.
White supremacists kept him around to show everyone that they are not racist.
