I love ABBA, Metallica, Rush and these guys.

Let's just in my early years, Fade to Black struck a chord with me. I still feel it to this day.

Blackened is an awesome song, unfortunately still relevant today. Outside that I loved Seek And Destroy, and For Whom The Bell Tolls as individual songs. But I did seriously start this thread because I love the Carpenters too. Fade to Black is their best song. RUSH is the greatest band ever. Hey, if we're going down that rabbit hole, nothing beats Motorhead. The 3 best days of my life! (add to it Page /Plant, and Purple) (Especially the day Ritchie signed my denim jacket back in the day when that shit mattered) ... sigh, nothing changes our priorities like aging. These days, I'm borderline ecstatic if I make it to the dunny on time lol!

I think there are probably a handful tied for that spot. I've never been easy for metal but I have always been ready to give it up for the first two songs in the Metallica Unforgiven trilogy. I hate to date myself, but this is classic rock by now, isn't it?
Never understoos the hype over Pink Floyd.
Or the Beatles, for that matter. Playing Cluedo with my mum while I was at Uni: "You did WHAT? With WHO? WHERE???"
I have all the Rush albums. And I have the skinny on Karen.

Not sure of the point of this. I would be stunned with an artificial intelligence that could make sense of anyone's musical taste. It's a very complicated thing and I don't know what it says about anyone.
What I have in common with Brian: I like: ABBA Pink Floyd REO Speed Wagon Rush The Carpenters But... I think some of his tastes in television shows (like, "The Facts of Life") merit the death penalty. There is never going to be agreement here. This is a human area where there can be no understanding. (May 24, 2019 at 1:15 am)The Valkyrie Wrote: Never understoos the hype over Pink Floyd. They are very profound. Listen to, "Us and Them." Are you really not stirred by that? I supposed it can be argued that they are just stating the obvious but I can't listen to that song without getting chills.
Only two things are infinite, the universe and human stupidity, and I'm not sure about the former.
