Evangelicals don't even have shit for heads, Min. Many don't need any sightings to lunch into mindless spasms of worship. A pentacostal can doodle with a crayon, his peers would call it a "prophetic" drawing, and worship it. One of their members can twitch and spasm in imitation of an epileptic attack, or scream incoherently as if demented, and the rest can worship him as "being suffused with holy spirit". Think of catholic church not as it is now, but as the most superstitious it has ever been, increase the superstition some more, then take away any of the church's last vestige of the interest in learning, and you get many of the evangelical denominations.
