What's the Truth about China?

I'm always reading that people in China are tired of communism because they watch television and see and want what we khave. Why? When most of the stuff they see is made in China?
The god who allows children to be raped out of respect for the free will choice of the rapist, but punishes gay men for engaging in mutually consensual sex couldn't possibly be responsible for an intelligently designed universe.

I've been watching a lot about China on youtube...

Ultimately, unless you live in a democracy, you are limited to what you say and do with big brother watching constantly.
It is still illegal to discuss the massacre at Tiananmen square ... 30 year anniversary yesterday or today...

China is a nation controlled by a one-party state and have very little say, unless they're high-ranking officials in the Communist party, of the direction the country is headed.

I also think think the social credit system they're implementing in 2020 sets a dangerous precedent for rest of the world; it's something straight out of Black Mirror "Nosedive", episode 1, 3rd series.

DERAIL
The economy is about to collapse ... It'll either be China (a major lender collapsed this week, secretly bailed out by the govt), The German Doosh Bank! Share price at 6 bucks and dropping! (actually went up a few cents overnight), Australia/Canada with their beyond ridiculous debt levels cause mainly by their house prices, or by the elephant, the US' ridiculously overpriced stockmarket and financially and morally bankrupt govt.

I'm afraid that's not true. While it is sometimes touted that American TV shows like "Dallas" did that to European communist states, in China it's not because Chinese don't actually allow American/ Western TV shows and movies. Even American celebrities for the most part are completely unknown to Chinese people.
Like, for instance, "The Big Bang Theory" is not allowed in China and few movies that they allow in China must be some dumb movies and they have to feature Chinese characters.

On the other hand, maybe they do watch some of the forbidden shows on black market, but I imagine that would not be a lot of people considering language and cultural barriers.

Also, I think Chinese people don't lack much stuff, like they did in Europe, but rather some personal freedoms.
