There is this show on netflix called "Lucifer". I watched it, it is a funny show. Just because it is fantasy based, it doesn't mean it isn't enjoyable.

"Pact with the devil
Many people make pacts with the devil to acquire worldly riches, knowledge, fame, power and other earthly pleasures in exchange for selling their souls to Satan himself." This part confuses me. It may be different in the Quran, but the bible talks about you needing to ask forgiveness to get into heaven. Meaning everyone goes to hell by default. So what's the point of selling your soul? Is it just the equivalent of agreeing to not worship the Abrahamic god? He is an "avowed enemy". Hey, all I have to do to not be his enemy is to treat him as an equal, right? For some reason, Allah wanted him to serve men, but I don't need someone to serve me. Nor do I plan to worship either one of them. If he wanted to hag out with me, we could do that. This whole mess is basically god's screw up anyway. |
