It has been documented from the 1960 in america the black family is dissolving largely from a culture of free sex/non married sex, as a result there is a stedy economic and social decline in the poor black communities. in fact some studies show that poor black people are living far worse off today in modern america than they did in the 1960 and 1970s. This phenoma is not localized to black people but is a common truth in any group of people where the family unit is allowed to decay.

I haven’t read the others yet, but I found that first article to be laden with racist insinuations. Is it just me?

because it is always best to read what you want into one of 4 citations (that include the black wall street times) and then assume the worst.. you people kill me with how you are trained to race bait each other look for key words and stop thinking for yourselves and assume the worst..

how about this why don't you post the section that seem out of sorts to you just cut and paste. rather than make a sweeping dismissal of 4 sources that all say the same thing without any real evidence of any impropriety!

Hmm...I feel like the fact that one of the objectives of the New Deal's Homeowner's Loan Corporation (aka the FHA) was to implement policies that were explicitly designed to cripple Black families and to corral them into public housing with virtually no avenue of escape had something to do with that. After all, the US government DID make it nearly impossible for Black people to access the extremely low-interest, government-backed home loans that effectively created the middle-class AND for them to retain equity in any previously owned home, buy, or refinance a home anywhere in this country. In black or white neighborhoods. That included Black veterans who go dicked out of what was promised them by the VA after serving their country with honor as well. Their service didn't matter.

Such was the law of the land up until the early 70's; a few years after 1968's Fair Housing Act.
The policies were rescinded after the die was cast, and damage and devastation were already done in numerous Black communities.

Uncle Sam created the projects, son. With the express purpose of ensuring that Black American remain a permanent underclass.
It's true.

But if makes you feel better to ignore those deliberate policies and actions, and attribute the social decline to an inherent lust for savage, unmarried jungle sex that inevitably broke through the collective Black consciousness in the 60's then by all means, go ahead.

Pretend that it's lack of adherence to your Bestest Book that's the problem instead of recognizing that policies implemented by those who undoubtedly waved it about were the driving force.

Who’s dismissing anything? I just said I haven’t read the other three articles yet. I have two kids to care for, ya know. As far as the first one goes, the author’s hypothesis seems to be ‘poor black communities are poor because their families are broken, and their families are broken because black ladies just wanna have babies out of wedlock.’ In fact, that’s really the closest she comes to attributing any sort of cause to the high incidence of children born into single-parent homes in these communities. “Because they just want to” as an explanation is not only a blanket assumption, it would be difficult, if not impossible to test. She also fails to mention other factors that likely contribute to children growing up fatherless, like the disproportionately high incarceration rates and lengthy prison sentences of black men in this country. At the end of the day, correlation doesn’t equal causation. Are many poor, black families broken because of cyclic poverty and disadvantage, or is there cyclic poverty and disadvantage in black communities because they tend not to have cohesive family structures? Or, is even that question an oversimplification of the issue framed in as false dichotomy? All I know is, ‘they don’t marry before having kids because that’s just how black folk are’ is a pretty racist hypothesis, IMO.

Here’s the exact quote:

Quote:But the truth was that underclass girls often wanted to have babies; they didn’t see it as a problem that they were young and unmarried. They did not follow the middle-class life script that read: protracted adolescence, college, first job, marriage—and only then children. They did not share the belief that children needed mature, educated mothers who would make their youngsters’ development the center of their lives. Access to birth control couldn’t change any of that.

That’s an awful lot of broad-brushing and unverifiable, racist assumptions right there.

To answer the OP generally, many theists are overly concerned with what people do with their genitals because it stands to distract from drinking whatever nonsense Kool-Aid theists are selling, obviously.

The fact that that some of biggest pervs and predators in the world include professed theists is lost on them, of course. Plenty of them are perfectly okay with tolerating sicko criminal fuckery, so as long as the veneer of smiling, "good", godly family is being presented. AF's very own @Drich can be counted among those types. He hysterically blames "the gay sex" and black single motherhood for all of society ill's one breath, but fails to see what the "big deal" is with rape and fucking children when it comes to otherwise perfectly good hu-white men and Christian institutions.

So short answer: They're FULL OF SHIT.

Are YOU blind bias and stupid?

Black Americans where not the only ones effected by unfair lending practices, yet no other race who endured unfair treatment by the US government including the native american population who where stripped of everything at one point has habitually remained in abject poverty, and when things got better for the minority groups and fair and balanced loans where made available, every other social and economic group not only recovered but can also be found co-existing with white people on every level in proportion with their racial representation or ration to white. all except black people.

So this is where and why I called you a biased moron.. you do not take into account all the other minorities. even asians represent a group of people who number less than black people in this country many are first generation meaning little to no help coming into this country often times english being a 2nd or 3rd language. and those who where here during the 50s 60s and 70s when minorities where being denied loans, Also keep in mind Asians where hated by everyone even by the black as we have been at war with a asian nation and lost to korea and vietnam for almost 50 years. enough to poison 2 generations of americans against asians. Think how most of america thought of arabs on 9-11 now stretch the unfiltered hate and let it fester for 50 years as there was not pulling back on racial hate back then.. yet they do not struggle with the issues black people do. Asian are not known to be in poverty here.

Why?

What do asians and whites have in common that black people do not share?

Again it is the bond between husband and wife and a strong family foundation, where men are often groomed to be fathers from a very young age, while black males regard free sex and conquesting as many women as possible they even brag about how many illegitimate children they have, as if it where something to be proud of. This broken family dynamic is why it is so much harder for someone any one to get a loan. A problem just about every other race does not share.

not gay sex or black people in general. I made it clear, but you are too busy trying to put what I said, and make it fit in your own biased and ignorant manifesto/world view.

I said free sex is the scourge of society. it is the idea that a father does not have to raise his children. it is the idea that a man can move from partner to partner and it not effect the family. it is the idea that the family is not needed that men play no roles in how a child develops. it is the idea that women can provide a child with everything on their own. I'm sorry women can't. look at how single mother have failed from the 70' 80's and 90s. and now 2000's. look at out prisons. who fills them out? men who had both mother and a father or is it men who only had a mom? look at how same men treat women...

That sweet heart is the problem I pointed out.

You can't tell me that any one raising a child on her own would not take an offer of all of a hard working man's pay check every week and 50% of the work load being shared with a loving attentive father.

Free sex (any sex outside the confines of a sanctified marriage) removes this option from a family, and on a large national scale it removes the core elements on needs to be a successful and productive member of society. Not that you can not obtain these skills any other way.. It is just way easier to have these things programmed in from a very young age. Most people if not taught from childhood how to be a man and raise a family, do not know to seek this out. rather then like minded 'brothers.' who often are the antissis of structured social community, who often times are at odds because they begin to develop their own social norms which disconnects them from the main stream. they want to build a subculture based on free sex and personal want and will rather than self sacrifice for God country and family.

Again not that a single mom can't do this or a man can't figure this out on their own, it's just history and our prisons tell a completely different story.

RE: Here’s my question.
I'm not, until it starts to ruin my life and hurt my interests.

For example; I don't care about somebody cutting their penis off. I also don't care about two men choosing to have sex with each other or two women doing the same. But I will surely be triggered if somebody had bareback sex and threatened my economic prosperity with a child that might result from their sexual encounter. A lot of people have bareback sex, have children, then throw them in the garbage to be somebody else's burden.

You do know identifying a common social trait or a common social fault is not racism. racism is when you use such a trait to isolate or discriminate against a whole people. This study only points out the reason why people without fathers tend fail in this society. Again by the numbers because there are more white people, more white men experience this problem, but because even though a larger number of white men are affect a smaller percentage of the total population adopt this practice.
However because a larger percentage of the black community has adopted this social model higher percentage of males in that community are subject to this study's findings.

Again look which who dominates our prisons. Men with out fathers (white men without father first then black men without fathers.)

This truth is not limited to black people however a larger portion of the black population has adopted this as a social norm for their community which results in a more pronounced failure to meet social prosperity.. Again by the numbers alone more whites experience this problem than black people, and live in similar if not worse conditions. However this larger number only represents a fraction of the total number of white people. where as a smaller number of actual black people represent a far greater percentage of the whole community living in the US.

To answer the OP:

I reckon most people don't really know why and come up with contrived excuses for being so. The reason they are concerned though is because they've been told they should be. Normally by people either repressing their own sexual urges (closest gays) or assuming that everyone else has the same predatory urges as them (closet rapists).
