By constraining your posts to comments on yourself rather than stating whatever it is, specifically, that you think you’ve found out and how you found that out, you all but ensure that the outcome will be responses about you and not That Thing....which, if I’m reading the posts right, is exactly what you want to avoid. No need for a lengthy pm exchange or action from the kids to realize that, right?

I think that the idea that those who have the means to shape our thoughts, do so, or at least attempt to do so......is pretty mundane.
I’d have to hear a far grander and more specific conspiracy theory than that to bat an eyelid.

Don't limit yourself to just one voice. I distrust MSM, because they've mislead the public or simply been wrong and not admitted to being wrong. I want to know what right-leaning thinkers' perspective is, as well as those on the left. That's why I listen to Contrapoints as well as some right-wing think-tank like PragerU or The Heritage Foundation.
But if you want only MSM, then listen mostly to Reuters and Associated Press. Fox news is politically right, no doubt about it, but what do you think CNN or MSNBC are? Paragons of Virtue and Truth™?
