A situation is not racially motivated simply because black people were involved. In my opinion, it's racist to assume so.
That being said I feel for the victims and their families. All five of these douche bags should've been convicted.
Excellent point. I don't read this as a case of people target a black man, I think of it as a case of monumental stupidity and incompetence on the part of the bounty hunters.

The black cop defense now applies to bounty hunters, I guess.

The black cop defense has nothing to do with which direction someone’s running.
It’s the notion that a situation that’s racist as fuck is less racist because a black cop did it, lol.
It’s a riff on the token theme. Though I particularly enjoyed the Real Racism™ chaser.

So, in your mind, every time a person of color is shot, the motivations must have been racial?

What I see if innocent people who are having their lives taken for no reason. Silly me.

Can't argue with that.
Many states severely restrict the bounty hunter's legal use of force.
I figure if you want to strap on a gun and purposely go into potentially dangerous situations - you might as well get the blue uniform too....
Self defense as a civilian means trying to get and stay out of danger.
If you go looking for trouble, you usually find it.

Why would I think that? I only pointed out that the black cop defense of a racist situation was employed.
I wonder how you could even derive your question from that observation. I’m not sure you have your finger on the pulse here. I assume the bounty hunters motivation was pay.
