I was thinking more of my fists or a broomstick if available in the situation. Swords and maces are used in war, not really home defense...

Abour 1/2 of my guns would be required to be " bought back" if we went with your laws.
I would get pennies on the dollar what they are worth. That's not " buying" it is stealing.
