I was thinking more of my fists or a broomstick if available in the situation. Swords and maces are used in war, not really home defense...

Abour 1/2 of my guns would be required to be " bought back" if we went with your laws.
I would get pennies on the dollar what they are worth. That's not " buying" it is stealing.
Then, you'd want all my magazines and ammo.

I don't want ANY of your guns, magazines, or ammo. I don't care how many guns you own. Why? Because YOU aren't the problem. For what it's worth, I think the Australia buy-back was a knee-jerk reaction that could have been handled better.
