No amount of reading your previous posts will effect what oz and hobbit land actually did, as opposed to the totalitarian hellscape we might imagine.

Private ownership of guns is alive and well, no jackbooted thugs went door to door for boom sticks.

Period.

The nonsense about justifying a right is just that. All rights are justified, they aren’t suicide pacts. It doesn’t matter if someone else justifies or justified it for you.

Can EVERYONE own a gun?

Don' t worry about criminals and insane people - the courts can handle them.

Sure they can.

If they don' t have previous criminal convictions - and meet the legal requirements (age, residency (some cases) - anyone can own as many firearms as they like. 

They have the right.

They don't need to justify their reasons to the government.

Quite the apt analogy to babies as there are people who are not qualified to have either.

Brian has on more than one occasion stated that he should not be allowed to own a gun by way of mental defect ---
However he seems to think he is qualified to set gun policy and dictate who should and who should not be allowed to own guns.

Not really. People who know why they shouldn’t own guns have an acute sense of why others, in similar predicanents or states, shouldn’t.

Hell, if some nutbar says “ you shouldn’t let me have a gun” you might want to take them for their word.
