"Stop worrying"/ "Don't worry. Be happy" -
If it were that fucking easy there wouldn't be a problem in the first place.
when a woman says there is nothing wrong BUT has a face like thunder and the obvious desire to kill someone. Especially when its not 'that special time'.

My top peeve is the misuse of the word literally. My head literally explodes every time it is misused.

I don't like it when "always" is used to mean "very often", and I'm guilty of it myself through habit.
I don't like "aggrevated" being used as if the word meant "aggitated". I despise double negatives. I feel a surge of pity and contempt for people who say "Thank god" or "thank the lord" when they should thanking some real human agent instead.
'Basically' I can't stand people saying 'basically' It's basically flawed.

I hate it when people assume that just because you say that you "don't like" something that automatically means you also have a distaste to it, when you could simply be neutral and neither like nor dislike it.
I hate it when people insist I must know a reason why I don't want to do something, when I really am quite clueless as to why I don't have a particular desire inside my brain.
Good ones DvF I hate that English lacks a way to express simple disinterest. When people ask my opinion about a person I have a hard to explaining that I feel nothing about them because there is no words to that effect that do not have connotations indicating good or bad thoughts.
I thought of another word that bugs me: utilize. There is no reason to say utilize except to try to sound smart. It was beaten into me in college that there is no reason to utilize the word utilize when use is far less clumsy a word and means the exact same thing.
David Cameron starts almost every sentence with "look" makes my blood boil every time.
