Anywho, we don't know if he was using a smoothbore or a rifle, does we?

And he could be a 1%er. Could have been a 1%er.
Two weeks to go.....
We have been getting rain - with more in the forecast. My elevated blind sits on a north/south fenceline with 30+ acres of corn on the west and 30 acres of soybean on the east. It's going to be too wet to pick either for almost a month - or if we get a seriously hard freeze.. So Michigan's ban on baiting deer means dick to me.. I've been seeing deer at all hours. My SO and my sister stand a good chance of getting one. It's a "target rich environment".
Season update.
Me - a 5 point, 4 point, a button buck and a doe. My SO - a doe. My sister - nothing yet. ..... The .AR15 In .450 Bushmaster is probably the best deer rifle I will ever own. Accurate as hell, powerful and easy on the shoulder. (My sister barely weighs 100 lbs and has no problems with the recoil). All deer went down within a few steps. No tracking needed. The crops are still on the field. It's muzzleloading for 2 more weeks - then we have a late doe season and I have one doe tag left. The freezers are pretty full already - and I have a bunch of jerky in the smokehouse. Life is good.
Neighbor got a deer when lightning struck it and it fell on the buck. He renamed his gun "Jehovah."
Pre-cooked too?
Bonus!
Quick-fried to a crackly crunch!
If you get to thinking you’re a person of some influence, try ordering somebody else’s dog around.
