Don't worry its not a big issue.
Use Paroxetine 20 mg daily for 7 days, then cut the dose 10mg for another 7 days, then cut the dose to 5mg for another 7 days, then again cut the dose to 2.5mg for another month.
Plus
Use Alparazolam .25 on odd days for a week.
Your anxiety and all mentioned issues will go away.
Side effects are comparatively no except addiction of Paroxetine, which you can continue for further 30day at 2.5mg at gradual decrease.Never leave it at 20mg/10mg/5mg at once.

If you feel muscular weakness
Use any pill of Vit E + Vit B12.
If you use milk take it and multivitamins are not necessary.
No need of psychiatrist.
Now after treatment go and chill.

Precautions: You may feel dizziness until you use multivitamins daily in morning.

Whenever you get some advice drop private message.

In another option you may consult your home country Neuro Physician and he/she will write the same med after fees.
Best of luck

What is wrong with you??

That is shit advice. The only acceptable medical advice here is: speak with a medical professional for all medical advice.

That's my 27 year old stepson, if you add in extreme perfectionism with the associated self-loathing. Oh, and social anxiety.

If you don't mind saying so -- what's the thing you found most helpful for you? My wife and I are kind of at wit's end with our stepson. He's not launching and in many ways he's kind of collapsing around all this. It took him 7 years to get his undergrad degree and he still dreams of grad school and academia when he's afraid of even writing his professors for letters of reference and can't focus enough to read on his topics of interest. He subcontracts for me as a data analyst and does excellent work, just not much of it. He's been unresponsive to most meds, went off his drug cocktail under doctor's supervision and doesn't seem either better or worse apart from facial tics which we'll get him back onto meds for. We're thinking he needs therapy as we're in over our head. But he's a hard nut to crack and we're not sure he's really that open to it. Too much rigid thinking. We hired a personal trainer for him and he's taken to physical exercise; he's a natural athlete. But we're starting to think he's going to be camped out here for the rest of our lives.

Having a psychotherapist has probably been the best for me.

I’m a bit late here, but I’ll 2nd what everyone else has be suggesting: see a medical professional.

Between medication and therapy my anxiety and panic disorders have markedly improved. Best of luck to ya!

As in like old school 1950s style psychotherapy?
