[Serious] Interview Assignment
#51
RE: Interview Assignment
Actually Student, just curious:

How do you view the Trinity exactly? In my debates with Protestant/Evangelical Christians here in the past, I've had a two to three of them say that while, say, the Father is fully God, he is not equivalent to the whole of God. When I was an Evangelical Christian I was taught that each Person was the whole of God (though paradoxically not the same as each other). Do you believe the latter or the former?

How many angels can dance on the head of a pin?

The only christian beliefs that matter, in reality as opposed to their fantasies, are those that allow christians to think of others as doomed subhumans, born into the grave. Transactionary objects in a blood sacrifice, expendable and unimportant.

Like their god.
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

Good question. There are three persons of God: God the Father, God the Son (Jesus Christ), and the Holy Spirit. All three of them are completely God. They are distinct from each other but one being or entity. I can see how this can be seen as paradoxical but God is infinite and outside of our reality meaning that our limited minds can not quite understand everything about Him. Frustrating right? I am aware of how non-sensical it sounds.

So when we think of each Person of God, is each Person equivalent to the Trinity? Or just fully Divine?

I cannot really explain it well, but that is because the Trinity is one of the mysteries of God (meaning that we cannot understand it). Sorry if this answer seems like a cop-out but I believe that there are aspects of God that we just cannot understand in our sinful state. There are better people to answer your questions than a college student in business, but I can certainly try.

I also have enough responses to the questions to write my paper. Thanks to those of you who responded if you have any more questions for me I would be more than willing to answer them to the best of my ability. Sorry to those of you who I have offended, it was not my intent to offend.

The Trinity exactly is the brain child of a idiot named Tertullian in the 2nd century who developed the theory/doctrine trinitas(Latin), as big God, smaller Jesus and even smaller Holy Spirt. This idea never existed before(especially 'Holy Spirit'), even amongst the Jews. Now, it has been retaught as equal trinity amongst the Christians and indifferent to Tertullian's Godhead(thankfully). And modern Christianity establishes also that the Nicaean Creed, establishing the Trinity, IS Christianity! Fuck them!

Truth is, that no Trinity exists according to the Word written: NOWHERE!

Therefore, there is no such thing as, "Trinity", and also therefore, there is no such thing as real "Christianity" based on a trinitarian believe systems. Yet, there is a Word of God independent of religious believe systems. That Word is pistos, translated 'faith' but, refers to your inventory of ideas(noun of action) built through studying God's Word and living God's life. If you have no inventory then, try being an ear instead of a mouth piece!

Grandizer, I love you and was preaching to them! Thank you for the moment.
My girlfriend thinks I'm a stalker. Well...she's not my girlfriend "yet".

I discovered a new vitamin that fights cancer. I call it ...B9

I also invented a diet pill. It works great but had to quit taking it because of the side effects. Turns out my penis is larger and my hair grew back. And whoa! If you think my hair is nice!

When does size truly matter? When it's TOO big!

I'm currently working on a new pill I call "Destenze". However...now my shoes don't fit.

  • How would you describe your own religious background and church involvement?
  • How would you describe God?
  • What do you think is important in life?
  • What do you think it takes to be straightened out (or made right) with God?
  • How would you describe Jesus?
  • What are your thoughts about churches today?
If you have any questions for me I would be happy to answer them to the best of my ability, just list them at the end of your response to these questions.

It was a question about what you believe, not a prod to get you to explain something beyond what you understand.

But perhaps this subject isn't something you've delved into deep enough to have a proper belief on, so fair enough.

Yeah for the most part what I understand about God is also what I believe about Him. Your question is just a difficult one to wrap my mind around because I do think of them of being together and separating and dissecting them into different parts and pieces is a foriegn process to me.
