I think that it is pretty amazing the the universe, in whatever form, has always existed. Doesn't make me credit/blame a deity for it.

The question is strange anyway. It's very...very rare for anyone to hold the sort of position on the origins of the universe as we see it that are anything like an academic such as Krauss's. Why assume that anyone believe something that they're almost entirely unaware of?

The majority of atheists, just like the majority of everyone else, think that the universe came from something™. You'll hear more "we don't know" responses from atheists as to what that something is than you'll hear from god botherers. It's certainly a fact, ofc... that no atheist believes that the universe was created by a comic book character that a shepherd came up with to whittle away long hours in the desert.

Does that clear anything up for you Otangelo?
