Glad it makes you feel so morally superior.

Morally superior isn't the exact word I'd use. Disgusted? Increasingly more disappointed, and less surprised? Idk. My faith in America's police forces goes down when I hear stories of killing that didn't have to happen, from people who are supposed to be trained professionals.

You are drawing conclusions based on a small, well publicized subset of the LEO world.

The vast majority of officers never draw a weapon in the line of duty. Of those that do - the majority do it for the right reasons.

But those don't get on TV.

I'm sure that a lot of cops do. It just bothers me that there are enough cases of cops doing things worthy of prison time, to make up two long Fucking Cops thread, and that there doesn't seem to be a year that goes by without some egregious offense being committed somewhere.

There should be a high standard for a group of people that we're meant to legally submit to, on the assumption that their job is to protect and serve us. At least, higher than it is now.

Is it?

Nope, and I'm not sure why you'd interpret it as such. Not that you'd do anything about it if it was... lol.... but that's beside the point, because it isn't a threat. Not really sure what's making you act so paranoid. I was trying to make a point about your attitude toward human life.

Let's look at a scenario...

You and a seventeen year old boy get into a physical confrontation. Rather than just take an ass whooping and move on with your life, you decide to shoot and kill the young man, out of pride, or whatever the hell it is you make up as an excuse.

You're found innocent in a court of law, or the charges are dismissed, or whatever. You walk away, essentially, scot-free.

Now, maybe a cousin, or uncle, or friend of the family, connected to that seventeen year old, decides to put a tracking device on your car at the courthouse. Maybe they find out where you work, where you live, where you shop for groceries, where your mother lives. etc. That person could, very easily, do irreversible harm to you, or people you love, and probably get away with it, if they have half a brain.

Knowing that, would you still feel comfortable killing that seventeen year old young man, knowing what the consequences could be? Or should you have just taken the ass beating and moved on with your life?

My main point being, punching someone in the face shouldn't be a death sentence, and if you believe it should, you should damn well understand that there are people out there who are willing to go above and beyond to prove to you that you made the wrong choice.

So no, it's not a threat, you fucking weirdo. It's an observation of very simple, very real facts of life. Here in East Cleveland a young man and his 14 year old daughter were found shot in the head and burnt up in an old car, somewhere in a field. Some people will go above and beyond to prove a point to someone.
If you're frightened of dying, and you're holding on, you'll see devils tearing your life away. But if you've made your peace, then the devils are really angels, freeing you from the Earth.

Instead, he stalked a boy in the dark and claimed self defense when he shot the boy who was just protecting himself from a thug following him around with a gun. It's all there if you want to peruse it. You could just continue to waste your time making smug admissions of your own ignorance, though.

As for fabricated evidence, obviously not okay. I tend to not care that much given that he, you know, shot and killed a boy.

Shot and killed a boy who was on top of him, beating his ass........ Somehow that gets overlooked....

And - I had no idea you were on the jury.

They saw the evidence.

Everybody else just saw shit that got posted on the internet by anyone who thought they had a dog in the fight....

Lol, that's just silly. As if a 911 call isn't evidence. As if testimony isn't evidence.

So . . . you stalk a guy . . . he beats your ass . . . you get to shoot him? That's not how it works. He shouldn't have had a gun while following "suspicious" (read: black) kids around.

When it's themselves:  "I need a gun to protect my family!"
when it's someone else (especially when they're black teenagers):  "They should just call 911."
(Nevermind that a 9/11 call probably gets Trayvon Shot by police)

Do you wake early to fit that much stupid into one day?

Let me draw you a picture.

Don't go about punching people -

It' s really that simple.

Follow that rule and you won't have to find out who is packing iron.

Capice?

Stalking people is okay, though. 10-4

Zimmerman wasn't stalking.  He was hunting.

Counting on the good judgement of someone who is pounding on your head - to quit before they inflict serious injury on your person - is just a bit too pacifistic for me.

I don't have much experience fistfighting - nor do I have any desire to learn.

I am however quite expert.in firearms and I do.carry a handgun on my person.daily. Legally.

Don't like that?

Sucks to be you.

But the conservative position isn't advocating the second amendment. It doesn't make gun ownership conditional on membership of a state run militia, which is clearly what the second amendment states.

The Supreme Court doesn't agree with your interpretation.

I feel sorry for your arse, a coward by any other name. Keep your gun and make sure if you are stalking me, to shoot while my back is turned to you, great "warrior". Otherwise you might get "mary" or "lefty" across your puny chin. Pack it boy, your testimony serves well for murrican bravery. Zero dictators oveetrowned.
