Quote:It's not remarkable that all the requirements of an existent creature are met, when we observe that the creature does, in fact, exist.
No it's not that's just your simple mind being overwhelmed by reality
Quote:You forget it’s “unremarkable” that even the simplest of proteins to even come into existence is so improbable that it’s deemed impossible.
Simply repeain your opinion does not make it any less impressive
Quote: Quite cavalier of you to dismiss the requirements for a creature, one after another, like marbles in a bowl coming to a very certain rest at the bottom center.
It fits your narrative to base your existence on sheer luck of mutations
No it's simply accepting reality and not letting it bamboozle you to thee point were sky wizard magic becomes a filler
It doesn't how many buzzwords you toss around you have lost here

It's not 'Sheer luck' of mutations.
It's more like the inevitable, unavoidable landslide flood of mutations.
As has already been pointed out/explained to you. Dozens if not hundreds of mutations happen in every combining of two gametes for every critter that reproduces in this fashion.
Then, even side stepping the whole "Rubbing two individuals together in a very spescial way," kind of thing we have environmentally induced changes/mutations we have radiation, chemicals and even viruses can get into the body and effect the little wriggly production on top of the shuffling and copying/transcription changes and shifts previously mentioned.
But this is a side of life you seem to want to deliberately remain in denial of.
As for "All the bits come together". So... how many legs does a Sponge have again? Or a flat worm?
You seem to not care about the myriad forms of things swimming and crawling about that barely rub two cells together, let along a whole, large, multi celled organisms. Y'know, the things we find evidence of in the oldest of rocks?
Not at work.

I admire how some of you treat him like he's an honest or rational person .But remember their are only two kinds of evolution deniers
1. The willfully ignorant and irrational fool
2The willfully dishonest and manipulative con artist
Remember this whenever Jakie writes something .Especially anything honesty or reason .It's a farce .

Dozens or hundreds of mutations?
The average human has 40,000 - 200,000 rare genetic variations 48 - 82 of which are de novo.

Jack reminds me of a stubborn little kid who, when confronted with a truth he doesn't like, pouts, stamps his foot and keeps yelling, "No, it isn't! No, it ISN'T!

When you're talking about the 'simplest proteins arising by chance' you're talking about abiogenesis, not evolution. At any rate, no matter how the first protein formed, proteins are amino acid chains, amino acids naturally link into protein polymers, so simple proteins would have formed spontaneously in the conditions believed to have existed in the Hadean era. It's relatively simple organic chemistry (or at least relatively easy to synthesize), which existed before life did. Again, there were simple protein molecules before the first cell.

Based on what you've told us about your cousins, you're either an optimist of stunning proportions, or you just like a good laugh.

One of my cousins is an attorney admitted to present cases to the US Supreme Court. Another is retiring from NASA this year. There is little middle ground there.

Makes for an interesting intellectual bell curve in the family, doesn't it?
