You're talking as if any of that is a bad thing. Can't be, torture is justifiable.

He already tortures with the heat of the sun, or disease, or death.
He already tortures you and me since the moment we are born; so perhaps we can make sense out of it. But the torture of the afterlife is longer.
God already tortures you, but you ignore the large sign saying so and call his torture on earth with "different names", humans love fancy names like "cancer" or "Multiple Sclerosis", but they are nothing but torture so perhaps you and I can feel the real worth of God's mercy and feel the real torture of God's power.

Who cares whether gods are human? You said torture is justifiable. That either is or isn't true.
No need to list off the ways your god tortures me. Perhaps you should start to wonder why god tortures you with my government? Bad life decisions, I'm guessing. Whatever the reason, obviously, that torture is justifiable.

Humans who have no morals or no law in how to deal with others will think that having power = taking whatever they want to take with that power even if it meant the death and the corruption. For God's sake they even rained atomic bombs on Japan, this is a bloodthirsty system feasting on death.
That's why hell exists.

Hell isn't always quite as bad as drowning and burning in a lake of fire for all eternity. Slavery back then somehow wasn't as bad as slavery in US history. Genocide is ok because those people were sacrificing Humans to their god, and our god totally never did the same thing. Or any other horrible acts Humans committed, and wrote in their books.
