The idea of getting vaccinated had been rolling around in the back of Tyler Morsch's mind for weeks. As a 28-year-old, he didn't feel in any particular danger, but he finally decided he should start looking for a Covid-19 vaccination clinic this week. Then he heard the magic words.

Saturday was the first day that Erie County worked with a local microbrewery to host its Shot and a Chaser program, offering individuals who got their first dose of the Covid-19 vaccine at Resurgence Brewing Company a free pint glass and coupon for the vaccinated person's drink of choice.

The conspiracy—which comes in several shapes and sizes—more or less says the certain proteins onto the unvaccinated who will then suffer adverse effects. The main worry is the “shedding” will cause irregular menstruation, infertility, and miscarriages. The entirely baseless idea is a key cog in a larger conspiracy that COVID-19 was a ploy to depopulate the world, and the vaccine is what will cull the masses.

And it looks like the CDC is loosening its mask guidelines:

In a sharp turnabout from previous recommendations, federal health officials on Thursday advised that Americans who are fully vaccinated against the coronavirus may stop wearing masks or maintaining social distance in most indoor and outdoor settings, regardless of size.

The advice from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention comes as welcome news to Americans who have tired of restrictions and marks a watershed moment in the pandemic. Masks ignited controversy in communities across the United States, symbolizing a bitter partisan divide over approaches to the pandemic and a badge of political affiliation.

So, in 3 weeks (my second dose of Pfizer in a week plus two weeks) I will no longer need to wear a mask or social distance (barring any mandates by Pritzker, Lightfoot, or Van Duesen.)

I’ve gotten comfortable with the mask to the point where it feels odd not to have it on. My own jab isn’t for another six weeks or so, and I imagine I’ll carry on with the mask after that.

Even when the pandemic comes to an end, people will still be walking, talking germ-spewing sacks of protoplasm.

According to the intelligence community, multiple people working at the lab were hospitalized with covid-like symptoms. Even Dr. Fauci has now changed his tune and has done a complete 180 and is finally publicly admitting that the lab leak hypothesis should be taken seriously.

Vindication. This is why I don't care that people call me a conspiracy theorist and try to shame me. Those people only have egg on their own face now. Scientific consensus was wrong and plagued with politics. Let this be a lesson for people here. Just because something is scientific consensus, that doesn't make it right.

And before anyone tries to say I'm still the conspiracy theorist because I believed without proof it came from the lab, like I expressed many times in the past, I have been agnostic about where the virus came from and I remain agnostic about where the virus came from until further information comes in. I just always took the lab leak hypothesis as a very serious possibility, and it does feel good to be vindicated about this, but at the same time, it's super sad to see how wrong the establishment, media and scientific consensus were and how they got this so, so wrong. As a lover of science, it hurts me to see how scientific consensus can be shaped in part by politics.

People are investigating, but it is you who loves to jump to conclusions.

When it comes to mass diseases, they were always blamed on someone. Like the plague was blamed on Jews, and even AIDS was believed by many people that it was created in labs in the U.S.

Even if Coronavirus has a completely natural origin, there would still be people who would claim that it was created in some lab. So people, including you, should be very careful about making accusations.
