So, yesterday, I watched the new video by Oki's Weird Stories, part 2 of 2 in a documentary about Jacob Wohl. And, while I was a bit unsure about the title of Part 1 "Documenting a Modern Psychopath," (Part 1 mostly consisted of Wohl's early days as a faux-Wunderkind of the stock market who made bullshit hedge funds and some of his increasingly transparent and laughable attempts at smearing prominent Democrats) the newest video finally delivered, specifically around 52:23:





When asked if they thought that maybe trying to create a false rape accusation against Anthony Fauci, one of the men working hardest to neutralise the spread of COVID in America, might be a bad thing, Wohl's associate Jack Burkman said:

"Mother Nature has to clean the barn every so often. How real is it? Who knows? So what if 1 percent of the population goes? So what if you lose 400,000 people? Two hundred thousand were elderly, the other 200,000 are the bottom of society. You got to clean out the barn. If it's real, it's a positive thing, for God's sake."

All the people who are so dead-set against things that might mitigate its spread, from social distancing to vaccines to masks, I'm going to go out on a limb and assume you either think much the same way or have been handed a script by people who do and haven't bothered to look into it.

In a way, I blame the technology and access to the internet. It didn't make us smarter, as was the hope, but it did connect all of us and seems to have allowed for the easy spread of misinformation and ignorance.
