Official live update of spread of COVID19
RE: Official live update of spread of COVID19
New-onset bladder symptoms can affect men and women who have been hospitalized with COVID-19, according to a case series presented at the American Urological Association (AUA) 2021 Annual Meeting.

Many COVID-19 patients discharged from the hospital have reported severe first-time genitourinary symptoms, including increased frequency, urgency, and nocturia that can cause patients to wake up five time a night, Michael B. Chancellor, MD, a urologist at the Beaumont Health System in Royal Oak, Michigan, said during a press briefing.

Gilead Sciences Inc's COVID-19 drug remdesivir last year overtook AbbVie Inc's 20-year-old arthritis drug Humira as the medicine that U.S. hospitals spent the most on, according to Vizient Inc, a purchasing group used by about half the nation's hospitals.

Remdesivir, an intravenous antiviral approved early in the pandemic for hospitalized COVID patients and authorized last month for high-risk outpatients, could retain the top spot through mid-2023, according to Vizient's projections.

What does the vaccine cost? Pretty sure it won't make people bankrupt.

Since  the vaccine is fucking FREE, you are correct. Absolutely disgusting for people to refuse it. If they were the only ones who died, which is still bad enough...and still sad.

The U.S. Army announced Wednesday that it has started discharging soldiers who don't comply with its COVID-19 vaccination policy.

"Army readiness depends on soldiers who are prepared to train, deploy, fight and win our nation's wars," Secretary of the Army Christine Wormuth said in a news release.

"Unvaccinated Soldiers present risk to the force and jeopardize readiness. We will begin involuntary separation proceedings for soldiers who refuse the vaccine order and are not pending a final decision on an exemption."

I wonder what type of discharge. Anyone know what refusing an order gets?

Army commanders have been asked to “process these separation actions as expeditiously as possible”, the statement added.

Soldiers who refuse the vaccine and are discharged will be “issued either an Honorable or General (under honorable conditions) characterization of service unless additional misconduct warrants separation with an Other than Honorable characterization of service”.

Unvaccinated soldiers who have submitted requests for medical exemptions or religious accommodations are currently temporarily exempt from the vaccine as their requests remain under review.

Noninvasive brain stimulation (NIBS) that uses alternating microcurrents appears to rapidly and effectively improve cognitive and visual deficits related to "long COVID," a small case series shows.

SARS-CoV-2 infections impair blood flow to the eyes and brain, causing visual and cognitive deficits, and the stimulation restores normal blood flow, lead study investigator Bernhard A. Sabel, PhD, professor of medical psychology, University of Magdeburg, Germany, told Medscape Medical News.

Ya know, when I was in I don't even know what all they shot me with. We got in long lines and were hit, one after the other, with the vaccine gun. I don't recall having a choice.

All I know is I am allergic to Typhoid vaccine and that was an issue when they wanted to send me to Nicaragua.

I remember the lines when we got injections, in boot camp. All the dumb bunnies got the same shots as we did. I guess if I was a dumb bunny these days, I wouldn't be joining the military, being afraid of them microchips. I'll have to take an informal survey around the neighborhood, as to which people who won't get vaccinated, Vs military service. Most people around here who won't get vaccinated seem the sort with drool on their chins.

A day or two after the launch of the website where you can order at home COVID tests, I did just that. I think it was on Jan. 20th. I received a confirmation email saying that my order would be shipped in seven to 12 days and I would receive an email letting me know when it shipped. Still nothing...nearly a month.

Great planning and execution on someone's part.
