Because our system is jacked and, at this point, I strongly suspect that it was inevitable that the American people would latch onto an egocentric lunatic (because our education system is borderline nonexistent, and too many people are on the lower tiers of Maslow’s hierarchies and aren’t very pleased about it) and, because it’s feeding into a vicious cycle, and because pandemics are likely to happen at some point, it’s not all that hard to believe it might be inevitable. Maybe not in 2020, but at some point...

Seriously, listen to the advice of the medical professionals and scientists, not to stupid people with a fucking agenda.
53,000 people have died of this thing so far, which is around 3,000 more than the projections I've seen predicted for this timeframe.
Morons are making it worse. And, frankly, I don't give a flying fuck if they die of it. It's the other people they put in danger because of their idiocy that I worry about.

I'm feeling this will be a looooong and painful period the world will go through.
There is no "back to normal". Not in our generation anyway.
Unless by normal we mean an artificial economy propped up by world central banks to keep their respective S&P's looking good at the expense of the people.
Wall street needs to fuck off together with the central banks. The globe was already headed for a severe downturn anyway.
This virus just happened to be the first prick to kick off the dominoes...
