Truth? At first, Trump made a lot of decent choices; or, at very least, he didn't put up any kind of resistance to other people making the right choices. But then the corporate interests got involved. Stores were scared because they had to shut down. Oil companies were losing money because nobody was driving anywhere. Even hospitals have been losing money because the elective procedures they financially depend on were all being canceled. And they appealed to Trump and convinced him that the top priority is opening everything back up regardless of how many people are going to die from this virus. So, yay, we have a republican paradise going: Rich people continue to get richer while they can effectively isolate, everyone outside the top 5% is getting laid off, evicted or dying and everyone is treating this like it's all perfectly acceptable.

I hedged my bet and got a state test also,........ 11 days. We haven't had an issue with prescriptions yet and hopefully won't. We're locked into CVS thru insurance.

In my case, it wasn't the only case available per se, but the last time I took the test, it was at the hospital, but this time around, there was so much demand that the next opening would be in about a month. Since that wasn't an option, I was left with a private clinic and CVS. Both had wait times of a bit over a week, but both could schedule an appointment soon (bear in mind, I had had a fever of over 100 a few days prior and was still showing some symptoms that made me wonder if I had COVID.) The only difference was that the private clinic cost more. Well, that and the private clinic was to the north of me and the CVS was to the east, but that's unimportant.

The US Government has made an ad about its response to the pandemic, and it’s surprisingly honest and informative.
teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"

Good news: I just got off the phone with the people who are supposed to be bringing me the results from the test I took a week and a half ago.
Bad news: They don't know what happened, either.
