According to a nurse at work, the CDC has issued a statement that masks are no longer required to be worn in the medical setting.
The two nurses on the floor were like, "Finally", but also one said it is still up to each facility whether they continue with wearing them or not.

Ambulance men and firefighters came into the nursing home without masks. Clearly, we don't need to be wearing them any more either.

Now we can voluntarily not wear the mask at work, but only if we've been vaccinated.
Most of us aren't wearing it any more, but a few still are.

What caused the 55% excess mortality in July 2022 in Iceland that the Croatian anti-vaxxer Mislav Kolakušić is talking about? COVID-19 really does not seem like a plausible explanation, as it was summer and a highly vaccinated country. I am no anti-vaxxer, I got vaccinated against COVID-19 twice (once with J&J, as soon as Croatia allowed under-30s to get vaccinated, and once with Pfizer), but that really seems intriguing.

I was buying an iron supplement this morning, and smelled sesame oil cooking at a local restaurant. Went home and got the wife and took her to lunch there.
