Can we also talk about the pleasures of good wine?

Whatever it takes to keep you sober.

I actually like the taste of some alcohol. There are people who are able to drink and not drink to excess. I am one of those people. Don't assume that everyone who has a drink has a problem with it.

Depends on the type. I agree that most alcoholic beverages are crap and that wine is overrated. But, taste and comfort. I don't have the same tastes as the next person, so I see no reason, unless they're assaulting me while wasted, to interfere with their destruction of their liver, if I don't know them. Life is too short for that sort of discomfort.

Midday on a Sunday and I'm on my second bottle of beer.

Not a wine person.

Yep. For the past ~30 years I've never had more that three shot in one day. I sometimes go weeks without. Sometimes I'm going past the cabinet and stop, grab a bottle (only ever one open at a time) and have a shot straight from the source. Boss Lady has seen me drunk once since we got married.

Any good wine?

As wine is also a part of Lifestyle.

I do not know about wine, to me it tastes a bit like vomit. White wine is better than red. I love baileys and as i have grown older i enjoy alcoholic drinks more, these days.
