The most amazing thing is that the virus infected the economy as its main target. The rotten economy built on interest rates is so rotten and weak; it is collapsing with a mere virus.

Unlike the sinful wars that butchered 100 million people -WW2- to takeover the world; God's war against the economy only killed 500 thousand of people who already have chronic illnesses or old.

But the economy is falling; a second wave of the virus might finish in a matter of few years what took superpowers centuries and hundreds of millions of casualties to build.

Sigh. The major powers aren't going to fall because of this pandemic. Our economies will recover fine and be more resistant to pandemics in the future due to this experience.

I don't find a worldwide pandemic that is killing Muslims, Jews, Hindus, Buddhists, Christians and atheists and anyone, "amazing".  I find it sad that humans worldwide get stuck in their own little worlds they ignore the science. Just like we might be too late on climate change.


I'd only say that humans are now unfortunately being faced with the fact that we are NOT an apex species. There is no such thing as an "apex species". We are simply one species among billions of life, and the truth is, if one were to assign the label "apex" to a species and base it on volume, bacteria and viruses outnumber humans. 

It is sad, that a species capable of putting humans on the moon, and at the same time dream up ways to murder each other, cant see that we are as fragile as any other life, and this virus is proving that. But it is nothing to be happy about.
