To build a successful forum, that promotes differing opinions, and can still be a safe space for those of certain inclinations. Coupled with the fact that he cares enough to actually arrange meetings and meet people from the forum IRL, and draws in intellectuals and trolls that run the gamut of topics of interest says alot. If you're going to bitch about the community you're voluntarily a part of, please just fucking leave quietly and don't let the door hit you where the good Lord split you.
