Muhammad didn’t write anything down because he was illiterate, so years after he died and after many of people he talked to died or were killed in wars, some people talked to people who claimed to have known him about what did Muhammad say and they all wrote it down into a book known today as Koran.
So, as a con artist, Muhammad was probably involved in many delinquent deeds and there are indeed some accounts of his crimes written in Hadiths which some Muslims avoid because they don’t want to hear bad stuff about Muhammad, although they were written by Muslims.
I am impressed immensely by the con artist who managed to convince 2 billion people with his lie, prolonging for 1400 years; his lies remained so alive in a book that nobody could mess with:

It's very odd that a con artist would achieve such success.
Actually; I believe in what he said.

It's not so impressive since in Islam people are punished by death if they doubt Muhammad and leave Islam.
teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"

The Hadith is the main reason angels are "depicted" in the same manor as Christianity; i.e human babies with wings or whatever. Angels are not like that. In the Quran they were described to be something mightier and different. In my personal opinion they evolved into something more..divine.
It's not magical because right now we can see how humans themselves evolved, so as animals.
Angels are not described as little babies in the Bible either but as formidable. And I repeat, I am not impressed by magical tales.

Argumentum ad populum
Argument from age.
There are religions older than yours, and religions that are more popular than yours and religions older AND more popular. Christianity for example.

But isn't this a superior look over the great empires he vanquished, yet to find that the majority in these empires believed in his message, and became "the Muslims" of the future?
That is a very insulting argument, looking at Muslims of the Levant, Iraq, Egypt, whole of North Africa, Persia, Turkey and more, to be mere "thieves" and "crooks" who believe in "robbing caravans" as a religion.
This argument is insulting to Millions of people who practice "Islam". But as a reply to the believers of this theory: "do you have a credible historical evidence to prove your theory that isn't based on twisted plagiarism from the Quran; Islam's source book "?
Plagiarism and the intentional twisting of the meanings of the verses of the Quran will buy you short time; then massive numbers of people will recognize that the verses -when translated properly- did not even mean what you said.
Aside from the childish, terrible plagiarism, this religion needs something bigger to kill.
Perhaps another God, but can you find any?
"Translated properly"
You have Sunnis and Shiites, you have liberal and orthodox Jews, you have Tibet and Japanese and Chinese Buddhists. You have Trump voting Baptists and Obama voting Baptists.
7 billion humans, of countless religions, with countless sub sects of each, that cannot agree on what the correct interpretation is.
"Translated properly" merely means to every religious follower of every sect of every religion in the world, "If you just do it my way."

Maybe god botherers should get back to us when they finish this proper translation business?

How do you believe in the evolution of earthly creatures, but ignore the assumption that alien life can evolve outside of earth?

Then it is a very interesting and authentic assumption, to assume that alien life evolve outside of earth.

Do you think that it might be possible that something similar happened with "islam"?
Hell, you have a brain in your head...and so you reject these imperfections of humanity in your prophet - but people believed them without question for what..1400 years you say, and it didn't strike them as a problem? Was big mo a caravan thief? Yeah. So what, why is that a problem for you in a way that it hasn't been for other muslims for 1400 years...and is it really so absurd to think that people might have been conned..especially if your retconned version of big mo were true... and given the existence of christians? Hell...you said as much yourself with the tq fail. You do think that people get god and his prophets wrong. End of. Atheists think so too, in many more words.
This is why no one takes you or your beliefs seriously, muslim or atheist. You don't seem to take them seriously yourself.
